@Mackenzie123 aww shucks your making me smile. Thank you so much,as I was reading your comment I also started to further realize that We can all truly still do great things,and rejection is just an inevitable part of life and allows for individual growth.

I was accepted and I am literally speechless. I was expecting a full on rejection and I still don’t understand how I was admitted… Congrats to everyone else!

@madaras mine says
"Congratulations! On behalf of the Committee on Admissions, I am pleased to inform you that you have been admitted to Barnard College. Furthermore, you have been selected from a highly competitive pool to participate in Barnard’s Science Pathways Scholars Program or (SP)2 as part of the Program’s first cohort. The Admissions and Faculty Committees were impressed by your many outstanding achievements and your strong interest in both science and scientific research. All of us at Barnard hope that you will carefully consider this unique and tremendously exciting opportunity.
Scholars will begin their (SP)² experience with a week-long stay on Barnard’s campus from Saturday, July 23 (arrival, with activities starting Sunday, July 24) through Friday, July 31, 2016. All travel and on-campus costs will be covered. Throughout the week, Scholars will be introduced to our science faculty, departments, and research facilities, and will participate in activities with current students involved in Barnard’s Summer Research Institute. During their academic years, Scholars will have access to a multitude of resources, including faculty mentors and regular networking activities with their cohort, plus up to three summers of paid research positions, and more."
