If it makes you feel better, I had a debate a couple minutes ago that I did not prepare at all. I believe in you!
What did you guys write your essays on? I’m curious to know
all of you are amazing, intelligent and interesting women and you have worked hard for this, I believe that great things are coming your way! you did everything you could before submitting the application, now all you have to do is wait. take a bath, walk your dog, watch a movie or do something fun to pass the time! best of luck everyone
i wrote mine on the spice girls and how they sparked my interest in activism!!
That sounds really cool and creative! I love that
oh gosh me too… are we frm the same school? from MA/?
I wrote my bold questions essay about dreams and how they are fascinating to me. And I wrote my other one about having a conversation with Elastigirl from The Incredibles
I wrote my first one about the value of being acknowledged and represented in class, which is an experience I don’t get at my school and one that Barnard really has. I also wrote about the close connection to faculty with the Barnard Degree and what that means to me. For my Bold Question, I wrote about trying to understand the balance of freedom and equality in society if one is valued more than the other. I tried to put that into my own terms in studying political philosophy to create a better system for the country. And for my woman, I chose Hannah Arendt who was a political philosopher after WW2.
weirdly that actually does make me feel better, thank you! i’m sure you did great with your debate.
