So, anyone here trying to transfer to Barnard? Does anyone know if they're transfer-friendly?

i was accepted earlier this week, and they didn't mention anything in the letter about the percentage of students admitted or anything like that, but they did say they accept 80 transfers each year, i don't know if that answers your question

hey asd, congrats! when did you send in your app? was your decision mailed to your home address or your school one? and do you think that you'll be going to barnard? congraduations again! and to the OP, I think Barnard is supposed to be transfer friendly usually.

thanks! i sent my app in maybe three or four weeks before the dealine, and got the decision at my school address, the letter was dated the 20th if that helps you figure out a timeframe or something. i haven't heard from any of the other schools i applied to, but i think that even if i got accepted somewhere "better" or "harder" i would have a tough decision to make because i am really excited about barnard, it seems like a great place to transfer to because everyone is so friendly and helpful, and there are a good number of other transfers as well. good luck, hopefully you guys will hear soon!

where do you go to school, if you don't mind? my friend got hers sent to her home address in CT (rejected) I'm not sure if it will get sent to my home or school address, school in is Vermont, home is in St. Louis....

yay!!! i just got in!!

haha, hiiii kyylllleeee

If I were to post my stats here, would someone mind telling me if they thought I had a realistic shot at transfer admission to Barnard?
