So I checked out a 2004 copy of Barron's How to Prepare for the ACT Assessment from my local library and upon doing the diagnostic test, realized that the book doesn't offer a proper translation of your scores after each practice test. For example, I got a 62 out of 75 on the English portion. So what score would that be? 15? 20? 25? I have no idea. All it says is that I did "very good".
Is there a breakdown of ACT scores somewhere? I haven't been able to find one. Thank you.

The Real ACT book I have says that this is around a 26-27, but I’ve always heard that Barron’s books are harder than the real test, so you might actually have done better than this. If you can, try to check out the Real ACT book for more accurate scoring, as it actually has previously administered tests in it. Good luck.

Thanks, whitesox24!
