Hey guys, im studying for the SAT chemistry test. I read the PR book and it was fine, pretty understandable. On the other hand, I couldn't understand most of the Barrons Book. So for the real test, what do I need to know?

I want as close to 800 as possible, but trying to understand most of the Barrons book will take a lot of time.

Barron's is meant to way overprepare you. Just keep at it and understand the summaries. Don't worry when you score dismally low on the practice tests, becuase they are insanely hard as compared to the real thing. The nice thing about Barron's is that it covers those tiny little things those other test prep books don't. Stick with Barron's and PR and you should be fine with the test.

Btw, I scored a 730 using only Barron's so take my advice with some caution.

i scored ~700 with barrons and got an 800 on the actual. PR covers the useful topics, barrons just goes harder, so cross-reference problems and topics.
