Barron's how to prepare for the new Sat

is it easier or harder than real tests?
thanks!

many say it is harder
i never finished it properly though, well the math sections are prominently harder...
whereas the CR seemed just fine to me
regarding the writing part it's not SAT-like at all!!!!!

the 3500wordlist looks tremendously vast at the beginning and you get the false notion that 400- words from High Frequency & Hot Prospects will get you through...but all it gets is 550- in CR.
Especially if you are an int'l (i am by the way :D, albanian)...So my advice, if you have time study the whole 3500 list gingerly.

to conclude Barrons is well-known for overprep, logically the tests should be harder as well...

Thanks.
So which prep book do you think is closest to the real test?

What about Kaplan?

i think kaplan and princeton review and other stuffs are just normal.. they are sometimes easier or harder than actual test- i would say it is pretty close
The BLUE BOOK is the closest.. i mean its from collegeboard.. its fairly close

no such thing as over prep unless you are shooting for a 2000.

So no, Barron's is not over prep. You will need it to get a good score on the actual SAT.
