<p>There’s a consensus on CC that Barron’s is harder than the actual exam (I never used Barron’s myself, so I don’t know).</p>
<p>However, a 30 and a 34+ are quite different. You may want to expect a 32+, unless if Barron’s is actually much harder than the ACT.</p>
<p>Not really. I actually thought Barron’s was about the same as the actual thing. In fact, I ended up getting a higher score on the real thing than I did on the practice tests. Use practice tests just for practice as well as to see if you are improving, but don’t expect them to tell you exactly what you are going to get on the real thing. Many people say Barron’s is harder, but it depends on the person.</p>
