Barrons is... um.. HARD?

Holy ****. These questions are hard as hell. I took their dianostic test and found the questions to be way harder than the actual SAT. But I guess once I read the lessons thoroughly I can obtain some good strong knowledge since these lessons are preparing me for their very difficult tests.

Im using Barron's How to Prepare for the SAT 2008

I tried to join but I didnt get in ( at least not yet) and I have the Blue book for the tests.

Use the BB for now. Make sure you understand why you miss a question. The explanations that are found online are very useful.

Where do I find those explanations? College board.com?

Barron is known for difficulty. I don't like Kaplan.

But will Barrons prepare me?

Haha, a thread just for your reaction to Barrons.

haha, yeah, I noticed the math difficulty level is through the roof.

So you guys recommend the BB by collegeboard?

use the blue book for sure!

would it be helpful if you learn to ace barrons math?

I dont see how it coudl hurt.

Use Barron's if you have lots of time. If you're cramming, ditch it for something like Princeton.

The reading and writing sections of the Barron's books don't seem that much harder to me. The math, however, is a lot more difficult. I don't know if mastering Barron's math would be all that helpful, because I'm not even sure if it tests the same stuff as the SAT. It would be like studying the content of the Math IIC exam just for the regular SAT. Except not that extreme, but you get the point.

We have 2 months to study Barrons
