Barron's SAT CHEM = RIDICULOUS

I recently bought the Barron's SAT Subject Test for Chem book and I'm getting frustrated as I read every page.

I'm in AP Chem and went through my AP Chem (PR) book without too many problems (except for some of the FRQs, which won't matter for the SAT anyways), but this Barron's book is giving me more trouble than even the AP chem test. Not only is there stupid information like the "History of Water" (***?), some material is poorly presented. Also, they plug in weird numbers for calculations (since when was .220 the gas constant?) and the entire material is so dense.

My question is: Is it worth it? Should I just bury this book and get another? Which one should I get ?

lol yeah!! thats where i got the freaking .220 as the gas constant. Idk, its really overwhelming, btu I heard it OVERPREPARES you, and their AP preparation for psych was pretty good... but this is another story... I've read other people say, if you can get 750s on Barron's test, then your good to go..

But there's no information that is covered in PR that IS NOT covered in Barron's, right?

Dude, screw Barron's. I skimmed the PR AP chem book the night before and got a 760. If you actually study the AP chem PR book, then you'll probably do at least as well as I did.
