Barron's US History SAT II Book

I have been studying for the SAT II History for a while now, and decided to pick up Barron's for extra reading and practice tests. Until now, I had been studying REA's APUSH book. I started working on the diagnostic test and realized that most of the questions were really difficult. I know that the Barron's MIIC book is much harder than the actual test, i'm just wondering if the same applies to the US History book.

its true. i hate barrons because the questions are way toooooo specific. id go with REA or the History for Dummies one

Barrons is a self-esteem killer. I feel tests in review books should be slightly harder then the real test to give students a nice suprise when they are taking the real one, but barrons just puts useless information into their exams. My advice, burn the barrons book at the exact moment you read this, go out and buy the book with 2 real SAT 2 US tests, take them, see that your getting 700+ and relax for the real thing.

Thanks for the advice, I was worried for a second that I might not have studied hard enough.

nah its not. i studied the barron's book for a week (i was in the ap course) and i took the satII in may and im almost positive that i broke 750. it is a VERY thorough book, but i would definitley recommend it
