Any thoughts?

Baruch is part of the City University system (CUNY) and is primarily known as a business school. It's located in midtown Manhattan and looks more like an office building than a college. It does not have any residence halls. (I checked that out recently for someone else interested in studying business in NYC). It is a very fine college with a good reputation. Many very influential business people in the NY area are graduates of Baruch. My d's boyfriend is planning to enroll in Sept.- but he lives on Long Island and will commute into the city. For someone who lives near NYC and can commute, I think it is a very fine choice for studying business. They can save a lot of money as it is a city university and use this savings towards an MBA. If you can't commute into the city, it may not be the best choice.
