Hello,

I was accepted to the Smeal College of Business back in November. I just decided that I will be attending Penn State in the Fall, 2013.

After A LOT of thinking and asking for opinions, I submitted my top 2 housing requests. I decided to put the Business Society House in the North Halls as my top choice, Pollock second. I look forward to going through Smeal's highly reputable undergraduate business program and it is really important that I ensure a high GPA. It is also very important that I am able to experience the social side of Penn State that everyone loves.

I know that I will be living with highly motivated Freshman - Seniors (Business or related majors) in the Business special living option. BUT, I was wondering how it differs from living with a TON of freshman who are new to Penn State and in similar classes as it is in East/Pollock. Honestly, will I be isolated living in North? I was VERY close to putting in East and Pollock as my choices to ensure living with other freshman for academic and social purposes, but I decided that the BASH house could really put me a step ahead.

Any more BASH, North Halls, Special Living, or Penn State information would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks.
