Bathrooms at UF?

So I will most likely stay in a double room in Graham or Tolbert areas.

So I just have a question on how bathrooms work at UF. I think I read somewhere that there is one per floor. Does that mean there is one toilet, one shower, one sink per floor? Also how many people are usually on a floor?

Are the bathrooms usually crowded in the morning when people get up to shower or at night if people shower then?

Also are there anything that you suggest the people should bring to UF when they move that is usually overlooked or not thought of?

I am sorry if these questions seem stupid but I am just curious.

If you’re in the more traditional style dorms (which I think most of the ones in Graham and Tolbert areas are), then you will most likely have the 1 bathroom per floor deal. Mine had 3 toilets, 3 sinks and 3 showers, but depending on how big your floor is there may be even more than this.

I think the entire year I was in the dorm I only had to wait on a toilet/shower maybe twice. I was rather amazed it wasn’t more crowded, but I also had a schedule that was later than normal, so maybe there was a rush in the mornings that I missed.

With regards to things to bring that are bathroom related, shower sandals and something to carry your soap/shampoo/etc into the bathroom are a must.

It really depends on the dorm. I believe Graham is like Jennings Hall, which I where I stayed for my freshman year. My bathroom had 8 toilets, 8 sinks, and 8 showers for about 50 girls. However, everyone had different schedules so there was never a time where I didn’t have a shower.
