Hey guys, I have a couple of weird questions about bathrooms in Bryn Mawr. As an international student, I’ve never had the chance to go on a campus tour, and I’ve never lived anywhere where I had to use a public bathroom, so the whole thing is like a big mystery to me.
Are there like big rooms with separate stalls on each floor? Also, I guess it depends on the hall, but are there enough showers for all the students? Like, is waiting in line just to take a shower a thing? Last but not least, are shower heads built into the walls?
Sorry for all the weird questions! I’d really appreciate it if some of you guys could answer them!
From what I saw on my tour, there are bathrooms on each floor of the dorms, with several toilet stalls and several shower stalls. I don’t know the answer to your other questions, though.
Current student here. There are bathrooms on each floor of each dorm - they have showers and bathroom stalls. I’ve never waited in line for a shower. Ever. And yes, shower heads are built into walls, though they can be taken off.
@PlasticNebula @artsycyborg, thank you! I’ve heard that waiting in lines for a shower was a problem in some colleges, and I was so nervous about it. Glad that it’s not an issue in Bryn Mawr! I’m totally not used to built-in shower heads though, but I guess it’s not going to be that big of a deal
