BB aside, what's the best SAT practice test book?

Hey, I've read that the Blue Book's real tests are by far the best. I understand the point, however, I'm working on these a lot over the summer and am already on my last test on the BB. I desperately need more practice tests :S What should I do when I run out?

Which of the sets of 10 Practice tests or so is the best once BB is done?

bump (10char)

there’s so much more to practice on… don’t worry.
lets see,

there are 6 sets of tests from collegeboard’s online course,
14+ sets of actual released SAT exams out there,
and… the famous red book…

now the question is, how are u gonna get them?:)

ps: dont use non cb source!

Buy another copy of the BB and do the problems again. You’ll be surprised at how many questions you miss.

Get some QAS :)

the second edition of BB comes out around the end of july, so pre-order it on amazon

I’ve tried the Kaplan books. Their questions are very close to the difficulty of the real test, and their explanations are fairly detailed. However, they are not from the College Board, so they may not be the best source. But, if you’re running out of options, Kaplan is worth trying.

Sparknotes has some practice tests available for free, and they get graded automatically.

lol @ Kaplan’s and Sparknotes… those tests are completely, utterly, useless.

does the new BB include 10 completely new tests not included in the first BB? :open_mouth: Or, knowing collegeboard, is it just a reissue of the same material milking us of more cash?
and sorry, but, what are QASes? And how can I get my hands on previously administered REAL SAT tests?

and sorry to insist but… if I absolutely MUST… which one to take: Barron’s, PR, Kaplan, Sparknotes, etc.?

for BB2 its unclear whether or not all 10 tests will be new, but there will be new ones nonetheless.

QAS is the [SAT Question & Answer Service](<a href=“College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools”>SAT Score Verification – SAT Suite | College Board), something you get for free if you took a past SAT with a fee waiver but otherwise something you have to pay for ($18 for the entire SAT booklet and $25 for your answer sheet – with your answers and what you got wrong etc.)

At least three tests in the new BB will be previously administered tests (i.e. ones not in the current BB). We don’t have any information about the other seven.
