Going to be a freshman next year. Haven’t seen the campus all that much, would having a bike if housed on Upper be helpful?
Is it common for students housed on Newton to bike to campus in warmer months? Instead of using the shuttle
I enjoy biking!
Also, is there a place to lock bikes at most dorms and buildings? Thanks!

BC has a website regarding bicycle parking/policy.

If you are housed on upper, may be you don’t need a bike to go to classes. If you are housed in Newton Campus, taking the bike to classes will be really easy. You can take the back roads along the quiet residential streets or even take the carriage lane, mainly for pedestrian usage, on Commonwealth Ave to get BC main campus. Biking is really common at BC.
