BC Calculus End of Year Problem?

Hi guys,

I am a senior who is currently having a bit of a problem in BC calc. I know there are a ton of posts about acceptances being rescinded, but I feel like I need to make a personal post. Anyways, my average for the first semester was about a B+/A-. We started Taylor series this quarter and somehow I have failed my first two tests and have an F for the quarter. Two tests kind of anchors my grade so I am semi-stuck here. I have received extra help and have done hw with friends, but I still failed the tests. I am stressing out so much about this class and it has been the only thing on my mind for the past few weeks. I am in no way giving up, however I just want to prepare for the worst. If I somehow get an F this quarter and next quarter, my year average will either be a C- or C. Will I be rescinded from a non top-20 college for having a C- for an overall/year grade? (They will only see year grades)

Thanks for the help.

Don’t get an F period. Get a tutor immediately, and find a way to pass the class (a C is fine).

Cost of professional tutor is much less than cost of college.

We’re a LONG WAY from the end of the year. It’s far too early to think of throwing in the towel. Lots of material still to come,

Take this as a blessing…it is better to find out that sometimes your study methods don’t work in HS than in college.
You have to change how you study…here are ideas:
