No season tix am i screwed?

I have a lot of questions about football tickets.

1) which sections make up the student section?

2) are there like individual seats in the stadium or is it all bleacher type seating? i’ve never been to a college game before so i don’t really know.

3) what’s the easiest way to get individual game tickets in the student section? stub hub? conte forum? buying from other students?

4) for people who don’t have tickets do they hang out around the stadium and continue tailgating once the game starts or is there absolutely nothing to do if you don’t have tix?

if you can answer any of these that would be great

I am interested in these answers as well. I was looking into buying student football tickets but I only see the option to buy season tickets.

i try to register on the tickets site and it says i need a student #. my eagle ID doesnt work though so i have no clue what number theyre talking about.

1) The lower tier of the stadium starting from the goal posts and then wrapping around to about the 40 yard line.

2) The seats are all bleachers.

3) The easiest way to get tickets are from other students. There are a few facebook groups dedicated to the selling of game tickets. I’m pretty sure there’s still enough time to get tickets.

4) Most people who tailgate are ticket holders as well, so the parking lot/people clears out once the game starts. I’m sure you’ll find some people who just hang out, but those are few and far between.

there was a letter bc athletics sent out a while back that had an account number on it next to your name. they want that number not your student id number. took me a while to figure that out too haha

I just emailed the ticket office and they replied that you can only purchase student season tickets for football. What if I only want to go to a few games? Is there a way to purchase individual student tickets?

I’m sure you can purchase individual student tickets, but if I were you I would buy season tickets for your freshman year. I have two family friends that used to go to BC and they said the campus virtually shuts down on football game days. One of them did not have season tickets for their freshman year and said they felt left out when they couldn’t seem to find tickets to a popular game. You can always sell them if you get the season pack. I’m an incoming freshman this year as well, and I bought them just to be on the safe side (but I’m also looking forward to the games…I guess if you really don’t like football go with the individuals).

You can not buy individual student tickets. If you don’t want season tickets, the best way to get tickets is to buy them from other students who can’t go to a game. I would definitely recommend getting season tickets at least freshmen year, so you can at least experience the games and the atmosphere. If you don’t like it this year, don’t get them sophomore year. I’m not a huge fan of football, but it is still a lot of fun to go to games with friends.
Also, this year the Notre Dame game is home, which you will not want to miss!

i emailed them and they gave me my student #. i’ll probably get the tickets because I’m a big NFL fan it’s just i’ve never really followed college before. it sounds like the thing to do though

So if I buy season tickets, do I have a specific seat or can I sit anywhere in the student section? Also, I want to bring some of my non-BC friends to a few games so would I have to just buy regular tickets to be able to sit together?

Seating is general admission in the student section.
