Bcs Bowls

Texas beat Ohio State
Ohio State beat Notre Dame
Notre Dame almost beat (should have beat) USC
Therefore, Texas will beat USC...its so simple...

eh......not necessarily

dcfca- unfortunately it doesn't work that way. Michigan st. beat notre dame, who beat Michigan, who beat msu. As a die hard Michigan fan, I was impressed by Ohio State, and I think they could beat any team in the country right now, including usc or texas. This is despite the fact that they are laregely white trash inbred idiots on steroids (just look at aj hawk). Also, santonio holmes is married with 2 kids... What else can you expect from the dirtiest coach in college football and THE ohio state university? Anyway, nothwithstanding the shadiness of their program, it makes the big ten look better, so I'm not complaining.

I am betting that USC will win. And Reggie Bush will be the MVP and Jarret will have a 200 yard game.

the Sugar Bowl was fantastic....WVU played one hell of a game....they had that D down, and they were running great offensive plays as well....they saw opportunities and took them...now....the Fiesta Bowl...that's another story.

Agreed!!!!

fiesta bowl kicked ass!! OH---IO!

Notre Lame is overrated

U of M beat Penn who beat OSU who beat U of M

I'm rooting for the longhorns, but i don't think they're gonna pull a win against the trojans.

I'm from ohio, and a rabid Michigan fan. I thus rooted for ND... that was disappointing.

On the other hand, my track team ran against Teddy Ginn a few years ago. w00t.

....triple overtime, and Penn wins with a flippin field goal......:(:(

dcfca:
If you want to say that Notre Dame almost beat (should have beat) USC, then you could just as easily say that Penn State almost beat (should have beat) Michigan, and hence should be undefeated and playing against USC in the Rose Bowl. But they DID NOT win, and in college football it doesn't matter what ALMOST happened.

You can probably come up with a string of teams (A beat B, who beat C, who beat D, etc.) to justify why every team in the country with at least one win is better than every other team in the country with at least one loss. However, only USC and Texas can claim (as the coach of BYU did about ten or more years ago when all other top teams had at least one loss), "Nobody beat anybody who beat us." The only two undefeated teams will decide it on the field.

Final score: USC 34 Texas 27
