<p>*The Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama revealed today that new retailers Bed Bath & Beyond and Cost Plus World Market will be coming to “The Shoppes at Legacy Park,” the new $62 million shopping center planned for a 16.25-acre tract in the former Cedar Crest neighborhood.</p>
<p>Bed Bath & Beyond will serve as one of six anchor stores in the new development and World Market will fill another, smaller space in the development that is bordered by McFarland Boulevard to the east, Dr. Edward Hillard Drive to the west and 13th Street East to the north.</p>
<p>The latest site plan lays out almost 142,000 square feet of retail space for up to six anchor stores, 20,500 square feet of one-story retail space, 38,400 square feet of two-story space and space for an additional 47,370 square feet of future retail space.*</p>
