Bed Lofting

Is it true that the beds in South Ben Franklin cannot be lofted? My D would like to have more storage space if at all possible.

it is true the beds in south ben cannot be lofted, but you can get bed risers. i lived there last year and was able to fit two trunks, and two suit cases under the bed that way. however, there is plenty of storage of space in the room. you have three or four big drawers, and a big storage space above the closet.

Thanks for the reply. Risers would be perfect. If you read about South Ben they make it sound like the dumpiest dorm on campus. What are the carpets like? Should we bring one to cover or are they clean enough?

i actually think south ben has the nicest dorms; most people in south ben didn’t bring rugs, but it is up to your daughter. the carpets are nice for being in dorms. i hope this information helped. i will be on campus early for volleyball, so feel free to contact me and i will meet up with you and your daughter my name is stephanie armstrong. message me and i will give you my information
