<p>There’s nothing wrong with including lots of awards. The worst that will happen is that the admissions office will say “This is an insignificant award” and ignore it when considering your application.</p>
<p>It depends on what your awards are in. If you got ten awards for humanities (writing, Latin, etc.) then put that–it shows you have depth. But if you got ten different awards for ten different things (English, underwater basketweaving, etc.) then they might view you as a mile wide and an inch deep.</p>
<p>Ideally, you’d have about 2-3 things that you are passionate about. Within each category you’d have several awards or recognitions that you want to mention.</p>
<p>Well, I haven’t won too many awards anyway… my school doesn’t really have too many opportunities for them. I can’t have 5 awards in one category anyway.</p>
