<p>32 ACT : 36 english, 36 reading, 31 math, 25 science (AHH!!!), 35 writing
3.5 unweighted gpa at a highly competitive school -- (10% to ivies every yr) and i have a lot of APs, so this is better than it sounds</p>

*my school has "senior awards," where they give awards to seniors for outstanding accomplishments in various pursuits. the only award given to juniors is the humanities award, for the 2 students who have excelled in multiple humanities (ie english/history, art/english/music) . i got this award, as did someone from my school who went to williams last year. in my case it was for excellence in photography/english</p>

<p>I'm no expert, but from what I've read on this forum, you sound like you should split the difference at call it a match. You're ACT is good, you're GPA is below average, but if you have a tough schedule, as you say, then you are in good shape.</p>

<p>Oh, and McGill probably won't care about your awards. But good job anyways.</p>

<p>hehe yeah you'll get into mcgill if you're doing anything besides engineering. any sciency related field, oh boy it's a rough ride lol.</p>
