Believable ?

Nns91, I would wait until you have new information to report. Have you contacted the school at all? You should write a letter and state why you want to attend the school, your qualifications, etc.. It would be better to write, rather than call, so that they have a record of your information. If you just call someone, they may listen to you, but if they don’t keep notes, no one will have that new information in your file.

Truthfully, it doesn’t sound very promising for you, as you are an international student who is requesting financial aid for junior year, and you only received a 39% on your SSAT. I would focus on the day school you were accepted into and spend the rest of my efforts studying for the SAT/ACT for college. Good luck

Can I write an email or I have to write a regular mail ?

I know that my chance is so bad. That’s why I said that they were going to reject me soon.

Hey, don’t be so hard on yourself – think positive. And I would think that since you are an international student, write an email so it gets there quicker. Go for it and don’t give up. I think perserverance counts for alot.

I got a 98 on the SSAT, and got waitlisted at Andover. Applied for FA but can do without it, probably don’t qualify anyway. Does having extra recs really make a difference? Or should I just focus on my own letter?
