-Texas is the only state in the Union that can legally secede without taking any of the national debt.
-The King Ranch is larger than the state of Rhode Island

<p>@gazebo- they said they would contact us for phone interviews in late February if we made it to the semifinalist rounds</p>
<p>I wrote that Texas was the best state and was kidding. However, nobody has refuted the statement, so maybe Texas really IS the best state in the Union!</p>

<p>lol i've been all over the place and can't say one is the best. georgia, florida, michigan, california, arizona - and traveled to most of the rest - most have their perks and pitfalls. if i had to choose, i'd probably say arizona ;) (sorry, texas just aint that cool! haha)</p>
<p>Not to mess with our good friends from Texas, but if the people of a state feel the need to consistently tell people they are the best, then they probably aren't the best.</p>
<p>All kidding aside, there's nothing wrong with being proud of where your from.</p>
