^^ Yea that’s good for your weight.

^haha, dude no problems with that. You’ll have a beastly pair of legs.

5’7" 135 lbs

bench - 185
squat - 375

Haha, I’m a pole vaulter so what I don’t have in height I make up in strength

6’0’’ 210lbs

Bench - 230lbs
Squat - 300lbs <---- I literally haven’t done squats since freshman year and I am a senior. 300lbs was the last I could remember.

I don’t know man, but i have to call B.S. 135 pounds, and 375 pound squat?

Either you’re lying or your strength must be through the roof.

Well if you are shorter, you have less distance you have to move the bar before you are parallel, so I could maybe see that happening.

Bench: 155 max, 115 for reps

Haven’t squatted in a while because it isn’t part of my track workouts.

6’0’ 128 lb guy.

I also 100% believe the pole vaulter. I know some small vaulters who are ******* unbelievably strong.

^^ Even, if he was ripped as ****, i don’t he would have the muscle to pull off a feet. Maybe if he does a quarter squat, but deep?, or even parallel. I doubt it.

I’m not hating. It just seems so surreal.

EDIT

Scratch that. My freind just informed me other wise.

haha i’m not lying! Like I said, I’m a pole vaulter with a body fat % of 1.5%.

I used to wrestle so my muscle/weight ratio is through the roof.
Its fun showing up football players in the weight room ;)

This is probably the manliest thread on cc.

5’10 135 (I’m a stick :P)

bench: 145
squat: haven’t maxed out in months

Haha, yep, seriously.
Then again, I’m a female soccer player/ cross country runner which = 0 upper body strength. And I tore my hamstring, which temporarily = pathetic lower body strength.

I don’t think you’re 1.5% body fat :P
1.5% body fat = dead

I bench only 130ish, but I have 9% body fat ;)

again, thats serious! every check up my doctor tells me to gain weight, its hard for me because I have a very fast metabolism (thanks dad!)

Bench: like 135
Squat: no idea

I run cross-country and track, so there’s not much motivation for me to work on my upper body.

No, legit we’re serious. You’d die if you’re body fat % was that low. At about 3%, you’re vascularity comes in.

Any lower than that, and you’re inner organs stop functioning properly. You can only survive below 2.5-3% for a few hours.

“Too Low
Although low body fat levels are desirable, it is possible to go too low. Body fat is essentially stored energy, so when a person loses all their body fat, gym performance and overall activity levels will decline. Fat also helps insulate the body, so extremely low body fat levels make you intolerant to cold temperatures. Body fat pads the internal organs. Fat cells absorb and store the fat soluable vitamins A, D, E and K. Fat cells also play a role in the endocrine system, helping to regulate hormones and insulin response. Women whose body fat levels drop too low usually suffer from amenorrhea and infertility.”

Yikes. 1.5% is what the doctor told me at my last check up, which was in June of last year. I’m still around so I assume its gone up?

How can the doctor not tell me something like that hahhaa

I’m 6 feet tall and weigh 135. Never lifted (EVER) before beginning of this semester.

Bench max at 115 (scrawny I know…)
Squat max at 250

Bench: 30 pounds
Squat: What is that?

^^ Considering, you’ve only been lifting for a couple months, nice job!

Do you go deep when you squat.

^
You know what’s sad?, I actually believe you. ■■■■■ harder bro

I used to be a strong kid before I became a CC nerd. My freshman year I weighed 120 pounds and could bench press 150 and squat ~190. I’m sure it’s much less now… :(
