^^ Yea I go deep. To be honest when I get too tired I can’t come back up. Oh well better than doing that constipated looking half squat others do. haha

Bench - 250 lbs
Squat - 420 lbs

Wow, I’m so impressive.

What do you guys consider a max bench? Touching your chest or 90 degrees?

Touching chest: 175
90 Degrees: Probably more (180-190)
Squat: Haven’t tried maxing…scared of hurting myself.

Always touching chest… Also with squats, always parallel or lower.

5’8 160 LB
bench= 225 x5 (one rep max around 255)
squat= 3 plate squat (315lb) x 3

benching PR was end of summer going into sophomore year, squat was about 2 months ago

Yea, it has to be touching the chest to be considered your max bench. It has to be raw too, you can’t have someone holding the bar for you, or helping you on ascent/descent.

I hate guys who do that.

^ raw lifts have nothing to do with excessive spotting, but instead gear like squat suits, knee wraps, belts, and bench shirts.

I don’t consider it YOUR 1rm if you need someone to hold the bar. I don’t have a problem with someone helping if you’re about the drop the bar on you, but no-one should be pulling it up as you push up.

New max: 255 on squat!

Oh yea and bump…
