Berkeley as grad school feeder

<p>So I want to stay in California and I prefer smaller classes, but I was rejected from Pomona. This leaves me with either Berkeley or Occidental College. Although it's obvious which name has more prestige, how does Berkeley do as far as sending kids to grad school, particularly in economics? Same question for Occidental if anyone knows.</p>

<p>I would imagine Berkeley send more students to top grad schools than Occidental does. You also have to consider which environment suits you better. You may do better in one environment even though it isn't as good at sending the typical student to a good grad school. Anyway, here's a sample of the grad schools that Berkeley graduates in economics went to (along with employers for those who opted for jobs, etc.):</p>
