yeah SAT's could be higher, and hm... the AP scores could be higher as well (I don't know how important that is in admissions though, but a lot of EECSers seem to have higher AP scores). It would be helpful if you can raise the rank up to top 10.

I love how you call community service slave labor. lol.

wow wat a dedicated junior, I wish i was this committed to colleges last year. Well yeah write a good essay next year and you should be fine. Keep up a good work and score high on ur SAT/APs. U could work on ur writing portion of SATs

Try to raise your SAT I score and practice for your SAT II Math IIC exam as well. For your other SAT II you might want to consider the Physics exam.

No, it won't hurt your chances (I didn't take the Physics exam and I got in), but I'm just saying that if you take it and score well on it, it'd certainly help a lot. You're aiming to take Math IIC and a science exam, and physics is more relevant to Berkeley EECS than biology or chemistry. A high score on physics will help you more than a high score in chemistry, but that's not to say that a high score in chemistry won't look impressive and not get you in. I'm just helping you look for that extra something to increase your chances a bit of getting in. It's unfortunate that you're taking physics your senior year as that means you'll have to self-study a lot of the exam.

I got into cal's eecs, but i don't want to go to berkeley cuz of the competitiveness (u c, im sort of a laid back guy). tell me some scary statistics so i can scare off my very asian parents. what would you say is the rouch survival rate at EECS (that is to make it thru without switching major)?
