I'm currently in a crossroads right now and was wondering if you guys could give me some input. I'm still deciding on whether I should retake the SAT Reasoning (2200/2400- 690CR, 780 Math, 730 Writing) or the SAT physics subject test(680/800) during December. I'll be applying to Berkeley EECS, and understand that it's extremely competitive. Shed some light?

@bigwords Thx for replying.
Yea, I got an 800 in Math ll. The thing is, all standardized testing must be done by December. Should I go with the SAT and bring it up to possibly a 2260+, or retake physics for a 780+?

The 680 in physics is low if you want to apply for EECS. Also, the physics score has to match the grades in your highest Physics class (Honors or AP).

You’re right, I need to retake the physics subject test. I probably could do a lot better the 2nd time around anyways.
Can you expound on what you mean by “the physics score has to match the grades in your highest physics class”?
I received an A for both semesters of AP physics. You’re saying I pretty much need an 800 right?
