<p>Help me out! I can't decide which school to go to...it is so frustrating. I want to go to both, but I just can't decide which one is better.</p>

but for Haas, we don't get to go in till 3rd year, right? we applied for L&S.. so do we have to re-apply for Haas later? im kinda confused.</p>
<p>yea, we don't go for the third year...that's why it would be taking a great risk if I don't get into Haas. NYU is more safe.</p>
<p>It also depends on where you want to work. Obviously Haas will help you a lot more with San Fran jobs while NYU would help you to get NY jobs.</p>
<p>polite hit it on the head...where do you want to work/live when you grow up. if your desire is to stay in california then i'd recommend haas</p>
<p>still can't decide. Berkeley is more well-known. NYU is closer to Wall Street</p>
<p>Work experience is more important than where you got your degree, particularly if you have the same GPA either way.</p>

<p>ignore rankings. both haas and stern are way up there. just worry about which school focuses more on the things that your looking to gain from their program...and also think about berkeley vs new york city and which fits u better since nyc is so differnt</p>
<p>berkeley and nyu are radically different schools in many aspects. namely, nyu lacks the campus feel that berkeley has although i imagine living in NYC as an 18 year old would more than make up for it. decide which school is right for you not for your career (both will give you great jobs)</p>
<p>NYC is better enjoyed in your early 20s than in your teens IMHO.</p>
<p>Don't worry about not getting into Haas, an Econ degree with a Bus Ad minor (or classes) is just as good. You'll have to get your MBA anyway. Undergraduate bus ad degrees are almost a wasted opportunity.</p>
