Hello all. Here is one urgent question from my friend. She will have 60 credits by the end of next Spring. But one of her courses may not be transferred. So there may be only 57 transferrable credits. Is she still eligible to transfer? Moreover, does Berkeley accept courses of 2-unit semester credits? Thank you.

she needs to have at least 60 TRANSFERABLE units completed by then end of next Spring.

As long as she have 60 transferable units, she's eligable.

But how could anyone know for sure that all of his/her courses would be transferred before admitted?

talk to a counselor to make sure past/current/future courses are transferable....dont fail any of them..and plan ahead. tahts all.

Usually on your college's catalog it says "UC/CSU" transferable. If you have doubts you can always speak to a counselor.

Thanks all. But she is an out-of-state student. I dont know if her advisor may know the transferribility of the courses. Has anyone ever successfully transferred a 1-unit or 2-unit course?

UCs accept 1-unit or 2-unit courses, as long as they're transferable.

check assist.org! you can check which courses are/arent’t transferrable.
