A few weeks ago, many of my friends received questionnaires through their email from Berkeley. Does this mean that they are "borderline" students?

And another question, has anyone else been getting emails from ucsd that make it seem like you're already in because the emails are addressed to "all UCSD students?" Does that mean your probably in? Only some of my friends got this.

I've been getting weird SD emails too, but I don't think that means you're in. I didn't even get the scholar's day invite. :(

And yeah, I think the questionnaire from Berkeley is that you're borderline, otherwise you have a special talent or disability they want to know more about.

so if you didn't receive a questionaire from berkeley, does that mean that you are already accepted or rejected?

It doesn't mean either.

Not all questionnaires from Berkeley are for borderline applicants. Some simply want additional info; some are about disabilities and extenuating circumstances.
