I got accepted to Cal as a fall 06 transfer student. I am hoping to attend summer school to take care of a major pre-req that can only be taken at Berkeley. I am having trouble logging onto Telebears. I am wondering if anyone knows how we are supposed to register for summer sessions and get the UC Undergrad rate. I need to do this ASAP so the class doesn't fill up before I can register. Thanks!

hey fourstar, if your major has a pre-req that can only be taken at Cal, couldn't you have taken this class the summer of sophmore or freshman year and got it over with? I mean, would that give an applicant a major advantage if they take a pre-req at berkeley, that is only offered at berkeley?

(just wondering)

That would have been true, except that I have only attended community college for one year (I graduated high school June, 2005) and I had to get started with my CC summer school summer of 05 so that I could be a competitive applicant when the fall came around. I had to fit 60 units into one school year, so I ended up taking four classes at my CC last summer, thus making summer school in Berkeley impossible. Besides, at the time, I had no idea about what major I was going to pursue. That was one of the big problems with transferring after one year as opposed to two. Anyway, does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

i think most pre-req can be done in CCC... i think it's a lot cheaper and easier to get a good grade...

anyway, you can call the undergrate admission or the transfer student help line, they can help you..

It's weird how people respond to posts they don't even read.

fourstar. your questions can all be answered if you just go to the website. its just obvious...how do you register for classes? go to the website

Use the PDF form, you can't use telebears.
