I am looking at engineering (aerospace), but really I am still open to anything except medical field. Of course, I've already looked at schools but wanted your opinions. Do I have the slightest chance at Berkeley?? I know my Ecs are horrendous.

How much of a difference would it make if I added interships and volunteering?? (Oh I have tennis and track too, baseball tried out but got cut)

Seriously though, the grades are good and I think you have a solid chance considering you have a really tough schedule. However, engineering at UC’s is very tough to get into (impacted?) and might require a higher SAT score than average. Personally, I would say aim for at least 2200 for Berkeley engineering OOS.

Oh hey, somebody else from WA. You’ve got a great chance based on your course load. Take the ACT and see how you do compared to the SAT. One might be better than the other for you.

Your SAT score is not competitive for Berkeley but if you raise it to over 2200, you might get in because California needs your full fees of $55k to $60K per year. You wont get a dime of aid from California, so if you can afford $240K over 4 years, you might get in.

Yeah I am not planning on going there because of the cost (probably going to UW), but I want apply to some tougher colleges to see how far I can go, you know?
