My D is accepted at the above schools and she is interested in business as her major. Can you please help us in the process of making a decision?
She got wait listed at Wharton (Her first choice), Cornell and Dartmouth
Berkeley - She has to apply at Haas in her sophomore year.
Ross - She is a pre-admit
UT Austin: She is accepted in BHP
UVA: Need to apply at McIntire in Sophormore
Preadmit to Ross is a big deal. If costs are not an issue, then that is your best and safest choice.
@RonEDvsREA I am in the same situation in regards to Berkeley and UMich Ross. I shall be visiting both to make my decision. Berkeley has more opportunities imo, but Ross is safer and has more presence in the East Coast.
@TheShortSon Congratulations! We already visited Ross but still need to visit Berkeley. Wish you very well and like everyone is saying you guys cannot go wrong either way. Please let me know if you would like to connect with my daughter to discuss as you both are in the same situation.
Agree that there is no wrong choice. If she is sure she wants to study business then I’d chose one of the excellent schools where she has a direct admit to the b-school.
