it's funny...you call Republicans "thieving," but you articulate "thievery" in your argument...."tax the rich to provide for the poor

when did I ever mention "thievery?" and when then taxing the rich to aid the poor become related to "thievery" or "Robin Hood?" Looks like you read alot of fairy tales last night. :)

well if that was true, then how come the president holds such an adamant stance against it? If stem cells really can be harvested without lives beinf lost, then why are there so many evangelists who find it immoral?

killing what life-- fetus? hahaha
no, primitive, NOT fetuses! Fetuses have rights you know. You were a fetus once and how would you feel if you got killed off before you got a chance to be a part of this world eh?

You were a fetus once and how would you feel if you got killed off before you got a chance to be a part of this world eh?

Fetuses have rights? Since when? haha And how would you feel if your close one had cancer and could only be saved with stemcell research? I know it would p*ss me off if my parents (or any close one ) died because of this stupid anti-stemcell research veto.

However, much of the breakthrough work in Korea has been done with embryonic stem cells. There's no doubt that there is greater potential in embryonic stem cells than adult.

Like I said, I was too quick to label you. But your views are similar to those espoused by the Democratic party.

And you know EXACTLY how the U.S. came to the decision to go to war, huh? I didn't see you on the Senate floor! I'd be interested in hearing EXACTLY how that decision was made. You seem to know more than the 9/11 commission, which by the way was supported by the Democratic party. The 9/11 commission definitively said that Bush did not manipulate any intelligence reports, and that both the executive and legislative branches were mislead by the same intelligence. I don't know what else I have to do prove it to you that you wild assumptions are false. A world-class committee was sent to investigate this issue for several months, and you still don't agree with them? Please, read their report.

yeah, I'm a big stem-cell activist and I've looked in to it extensively...it's one of my top priorities when it comes to politics, and when stem cells are involved, I'm overwhelmingly liberal...I was just trying to calm everyone down...

nancy reagan supports stem cell research

If Nancy Reagan supports it, it has to be right! What people don't realize is that stem cell research on fetuses is not illegal. You can use all the money in the world to do you stem cell research on a fetus. However, using government money for an inaccurate science is simply wasting it. No one is for sure whether any breakthroughs will ever occur that allow stem cells to cure diseases/grow new parts.

No one is for sure whether any breakthroughs will ever occur that allow stem cells to cure diseases/grow new parts.

thats the whole idea of stem cell "research" isnt it? Its motive is to find those breakthroughs that can help cure deadly diseases like cancer? Dont you think that can make a difference in the world?

"fetuses have rights once they're i think 7 months old primitive"

Can you give me a reliable source that claims fetuses have rights once they are seven years old? i never heard of it....

(btw, stemcell resarch can also lead to cures dealing with brain tumors. How cool is that!)

Money? is money the only reason you dislike stem cell research? Is immorality not even a minor consideration in your mind? Stem cell's illegal in Canada though. yep, your socialist partisan politics wielding canada americans.

oops, I guess it's seven "weeks" not months. and primitive, if you're truly the newsweek obssesed politician aspirer that you claimed to be or claim to "want" to be, then you'd know general info type facts like "fetuses have rights".

then you'd know general info type facts like "fetuses have rights".

first you say "fetuses have rights when they rae seven months old." then you say they have rights when they are " seven weeks old." You havent provided me a source to prove it. All you mentioned is newsweek. I am truly an avid reader of Newsweek, but I never seen it mention "fetuses have rights."
