Best ACT books to use besides the red book

I’ve tried searching for the answer to this, but I haven’t quite found it.
For those of you who scored 34+, what books have you used as a substitute for the ACT red book? I’m planning to save those tests until the last couple of weeks.
I currently score 36E, 35M, 34R, but only 28-32 S, so I really need more practice on that.
Any suggestions would help! :slight_smile:

Don’t save official tests until the last couple of weeks. Try to spread them out as you practice and prepare.

You can get four additional tests in the links I posted here: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/act-preparation/1578135-official-act-practice-tests-complete-list-of-public-tests-p1.html

Also, the two practice tests in the ACT Online prep from the official test writers can also be used: http://www.actstudent.org/onlineprep/

And the free practice questions on ACT’s website: http://www.actstudent.org/sampletest/

@SATQuantum thanks so much!

Go with PR 1296 for science

@thingamajig102 thanks! Does it just have a bunch of questions?

You can get many ACT online practice tests here:http://■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

@duhlife It has 3 practice tests + 3 tests for each section, so basically you can still take them as a full test (although you won’t get scaled score)

I once had a book called “10 ACT Practice Tests” Very good.

For science, the key is speed. Read the questions first and read them fast.

omg very very helpful a plethora of actual tests.THANK YOU SO MUCH. Have a nice day!
