Hi,
I'm wondering what are the best book/s to prep for the ACT. I have both the original Real ACT and the new Real ACT prep book. I also have Barron's ACT prep book. I will be taking the ACT on the 22nd of October. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Joshbyb1...you are using the best ACT books....stick with them. But ACt can be difficult to complete so include time management while practicing. good luck......

The first Engish section can be improved very easily.....if you don't do well with grammar see someone who can guide you. My d went from missing 10 to missing 1.

I improved my composite score by four points using The Real ACT and Kaplan. I felt Kaplan served as a pretty good review. I did not work on pacing when I did the Kaplan book, but I did work on pacing when I used The Real ACT.

I am taking it on the 22nd as well. I am using the Princeton Review and the official guide. I like PR for the review of how to do concepts and the official guide for practice tests.
