GoBlue is correct. Michigan, focused on broad business education, does not offer concentrations, which is why the undergraduate coursework in accounting is not sufficient compared to other schools.

But who they take from which school is largely determined by GPA:
UC Berkeley 3.3. to 3.4+
Cal Poly SLO/Santa Clara 3.5+
San Jose State 3.7 to 3.8+

I have to strongly disagree with calcruzer's numbers. At every cal state, the average GPA quoted by a member of BAP was and has been 3.4 for the last 2 years that i have actually asked for numbers. Obviously this is a rough estimate by my respondent, but considering people like to inflate their grades when asked by others, or at least that would be the greater tendency, i feel they should at least be able to show a better rep of the GPA's from cal state schools (SDSU, CSUF, SCULB, SJSU)

over 16 people last year that i know of, this is not complete, were hired into big 4 outside and had lower than a 3.4GPA. It seems as if GT and Moss Adams were the strictest (but mind you, this school has like 900-1000 acct majors - i think)
