I wrote down on my reminder that we’re supposed to be hearing back on March 7th.
Maybe they’re sending e-mails from now up to that day? Or maybe I’m being too hopeful and I should just accept the fact that I didn’t get one ): Lol.</p>

<p>But I went to the webpage and it says “Provisional recipients will receive an email by late March; only provisional recipients will be notified.”</p>

<p>yep, it did say BY late march, so there is a sliver of hope. but i always take such notification dates loosely unless a specific day is mentioned. for example, some EA decisions go out earlier than expected… shrug</p>

<p>@Jenonymous probably not. Why would they send only some of the emails out March 4th when all the finalists have already been accepted? We probably won’t hear anything from now till Monday.</p>

<p>Nothing for my son and daughter. I do wish they would send out a rejection email also! Sometimes there may be someone who does not send in materials or who has fibbed a bit in the early application & you may be next on the list. Congrats to everyone so far!</p>
<p>Writing for my daughter. She received the e-mail and will get $1000 from Best Buy. Congrat to all the others who got it. For those who didn’t get it, there are still some other scholarships. My daughter won some and lost some.</p>

Even Coca-Cola sent a letter to my counselor stating though I was a semi-finalist I didn’t make finalist.</p>
<p>Does anyone know what we would have to do if we make finalist round? Do we need proof for thenumber of hours we volunteered/worked or activities? Recoommendations? Essays? Thanks!</p>
