Best Carrier Coverage in Harvard/Cambridge (2013 edition)

I'm an incoming freshman in the class of 2017, and I've been reading some old threads about the best carrier coverage in the area, but a lot might have changed since then. So I decided to start a new thread to get get new perspectives/reviews about coverage (including 4G) on or off campus.

Does Verizon still have the best coverage?

Does AT&T's services still struggle in the Quad?

How are T-Mobile and Sprint compared to the other two?

Any help would be much appreciated!

My son uses Verizon, seemingly without trouble.

My daughter is on Virgin Mobile, a sprint re-seller, and it works fine. She uses the phone mostly for texting though . . . and the occasional phone call to us. If she needs the internet, she uses her computer.

Thank you for the input!

btw, totally unrelated, but any idea on banks? I’m looking into Citibank and Bank of America. Both seem to be the best options…

My son uses the Harvard credit union and has electronic access to his home banking.

My daughter uses BOA.

Verizon seems to have the best coverage…I hear people with Sprint complaining more than others, but have never had a problem with my own Verizon phone; Bank of America is one of the most convenient banks in the square.

I’ve heard verizon is the best, hands down.
