best Cat VI GE with diversity?

<p>My schedule is terrible so I eventually have to change it, but I would like some to hear some peer reviews on some of the classes and professors listed below since the new senate course guide is useless and ratemyprofessors doesn't tell you everything. </p>

<p>I narrowed the list down to:</p>

<p>Geography 100gm - Los Angeles and the American Dream
AMST 274gm- Exploring Ethnicity Through Film
AMST 101gm - Race and Class in Los Angeles
Sociology 142gm Diversity and Racial Conflict
Sociology 150gm- Social Problems</p>

<p>Any suggestions?</p>

<p>I signed up for SOCI-142gm, Ransford had pretty favorable ratings on the old senate course guide before it went down so I'm gonna take a chance with him.</p>

<p>Don't know about Ransford, but I took SOCI-142gm with Emeka and it was an excellent course (easy A).</p>

<p>My son signed up for the Philosophy class on Earthlings because he likes Science Fiction. If you like Science Fiction, maybe you want to add this class to your prospective list.</p>

<p>i took social problems, not too bad. You have some books to read but long as you goto lectures no problems.</p>
