current students: whats a good GE cat 2 class

and GE arts and letters class. and does naybody know the website that ranks profs. and classes. it was student senate website, i forgot what adress though.

The web page is still student senate, just do a search from the usc home page...they also have the course eval results on oasis.

As far as category 2, I took north american indians but it sucked...i hear there is a new instructor now though.

For A&L, I took Roman Art and Architechture with Boyle and really, really enjoyed it.

My best friend. :)

Arts and Letters, I would recommend Memory, History, and Identity in Postmodern Literature and Film with Halberstam. Sounds confusing but we read good books, and got to watch Memento, Finding Nemo, and Dude, Where's My Car.

I'm not sure which one is Category 2, but I think it's the one I'm taking right now, Religions in Latin America, with Lint-Sagarena. I would definitely recommend it. The prof is energetic, and it is pretty easy. Category 2 might have been The American Experience class I took. It was pretty dry, especially since it was early in the morning, and not the easiest class.

Nah, American Experience was some other category. I took it as well, what a crappy class.
