Hi, NYU Community Members,

I just saw this thread on the CC USC site. I am borrowing this idea since it elicited some great info on classes enjoyed and recommended by USC students. (By the way, USC CC members borrowed the idea from CC UCLA site.)

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-southern-california/777020-best-classes-youve-taken-usc.html

I was salivating in reading about all the great courses offered at USC for students there. Honestly, USC is my first choice for my son (who was accepted there). However, sonny is very set on NYU (deposits for tuition and housing just mailed in).

Hoping for some good feedback from you all. Please identify the course and the school (if course is open to everyone or just specific to the students in each school, e.g., CAS, Stern, Tisch, etc).

I’m a little pressed for time, so I’ll list one:

WRITING FOR CHILDREN’S TELEVISION: TISCH

My professor actually worked on Sesame Street as a writer. It’s a fun way to learn about writing a screenplay and to fulfill an arts requirement. You create a show bible and an entire pilot script. Amazing class. This is a class that anyone is eligible for.

missamericanpie,

Thank you. The class does sound good. Any more (when you have the time)?

Anyone else and other schools also?
