What is the best college in WA for a history major, UW, Seattle University, Western, or Gonzaga??? Which of the these colleges is the best overall?? Can UW get you into a great grad law/buisness school?

UW is the most prestigious because it is the flagship school, but whitman is probably better but since its in the middle of nowhere and much smaller it doesn't have as much pull.

UW doesn't get you into grad school, you get yourself there. It basically the dumbest question you can ask. Harvard doesn't get you into law/business school if you have bad grades and low gmat scores with terrible work experience, that is up to you.

whitman is probably the "best" school for an undergrad degree

^^Whitman. ditto.

whitman is ranked #36 in US News Liberal Arts colleges, UW is 45 in Universities, and Whitmore and Gonzaga are top 10 in Masters Universities in US News rankings

UW for big research universities, Whitman for small LACs.

Don't underestimate Washington State University; specifically the Honors College and the natural sciences departments overall.

is UW the best???
