Which CUNY is better for sciences such as biology and chemistry, Hunter College or Queens College?
I would say Hunter College. The drawback with Hunter is the availability of courses to match student demand. It appears that the demand for science courses outstripped supply due to the large student body (some say the school is overcrowded). IMHO, you get get an equally good undergraduate Biology/Chemistry education at Queens College. If I’m not mistaken, you live in Queens, so commuting to Queens College might be a lot easier than commuting into the NYC and Queens College has a nice campus, while Hunter doesn’t!
Below are links showcasing a graduate from Queens College who is now in the M.D./Ph.D. Program at Penn State College of Medicine:

Are you looking to get into medical school after undergrad? What is your end goal after majoring in Biology or Chemistry (or Biochemistry)?
In another thread you indicated that Baruch is your first choice CUNY school. What would be your intended major at Baruch?
@Jamrock411 Thanks for the links, and yes I do live in Queens so I’m a lot closer to Queens college than to Hunter. I still am not exactly sure what I want to do as I’m interested in a lot of different things but I would get the bio/chem degree for Pre-Med or Pharmacy. This was my first plan until after I visited Baruch and started really becoming interested International Business as I had a class in high school on International Relations and I really enjoyed it. I still haven’t heard back from Baruch yet and my mom would rather me get a job in the medical field lol so that’s means I’m probably back between Queens and Hunter
