you guys have tax free weekends!? THAT'S SO COOL!!

what are the sales tax %s in various states, anyway?

Texas also has a three day tax free weekend... normally here in Houston tax is 8.25% except on a non-prepared foods.

I just think that any shirt with a graphic on it, or a kind of vintage look is good. Its classic and it never goes out of style. Plus really inexpensive. You can even buy iron on patches (maybe Ill do that).

N.H. is tax free on clothes all of the time. D does a lot of on-line shoping and has everything sent to school. This coupled with free shipping and coupons for additional web savings has saved her a considerable amount of $ and she hasn't had to compromise the fashionista in her.

Currently Polo on-line is having their best of summer sale. Black label Slim fit polo regularly $115 on sale for $39

::N.H. is tax free on clothes all of the time. ::

NH doesn't have sales tax on anything except for premade, ready-to-eat food (i.e. at a restaurant but not at a grocery store). We don't have an income tax either. We have lots and lots of property taxes though.

We get lots of people from Massachusetts coming up to NH for Christmas shopping and for buying tax-free liquor.

Target has cuter clothes and random stuff than Walmart.

Friend of mine bought Versaci (I don't know how to spell it. Some really big expensive name) pants for five dollah. AT the THRIFT STORE.

ebay *****es

eBay is very cool. especially if you're looking for pieces that are no longer carried in stores. not to mention great deals on authentic retro, vintage pieces.

<a href="http://www.threadless.com%5B/url%5D">www.threadless.com</a> for cool t-shirts

NY's sales tax is 8.25% I think...not sure if anyone shops at eastbay.com but they have a 30% coupon out now, it's EM01LY25, good from the 25th-29th. I bought a really nice triple five soul jacket from them. (<a href="http://www.eastbay.com/catalog/productdetail.cfm?TID=5555-57240501440157010735890-0&module=unknown&action=view&supercat=clothing&model_nbr=60119&sku=523150&id=20000388&mvp=brand%5B/url%5D">http://www.eastbay.com/catalog/productdetail.cfm?TID=5555-57240501440157010735890-0&module=unknown&action=view&supercat=clothing&model_nbr=60119&sku=523150&id=20000388&mvp=brand</a>)</p>

Threadless is by far one of the best websites out there for getting t-shirts that are very hip and shirts that few people will sport. You'll always get stares and people will go where'd you get that shirt. Sorta of the antithesis of mass produced Abercrombie, AE, etc.

actually nyc sales tax is 8.75%

i love threadless. they definitely have the coolest t-shirts.

Um isn't it against the forum rules to post referal links. That link gives you money for each shirt that somebody buys.

Threadless has some VERY COOL prints! If I could, I would buy all of my t-shirts there or find a way to print them off and paste them on my own tshirts (because I can go buy 10 blank shirts for 5 dollars.)

Go to SAM'S CLUB! ANd if you love sporty clothes, buy them in the summer time. Sam's Club sold cute track clothes for 2 dollars. That's for the pants and the jacket. Of course the were like... only fitting well if you're FAT, but still, 2 dollars for a cute track pant is a bargain! And the jacket is there if you ever need a jacket and don't care about looking poor.
