Just wanted feedback from the community on what the best dorm for an incoming undergraduate Engineering student. The quality of the food in the dorm and the size of the room does not play a huge factor into my decision, but the distance to classes and the amount of freshman in the dorm does matter to me.

All but one of you classes will be on central. So if you wanna be close, pick a dorm there. Well, you can’t really “pick” a dorm. Make a dorm on central your top choice.

MLDWoody is right with saying that most of your classes will be on central during freshman year.
As for dorms,
Markley (Hill) and Bursley (North) are the bigger dorms, and both are around ~95% freshman. You can choose a preference, but it doesn’t necessarily mean that you will get what you put for the highest preference.

Ok, thanks for the insight. So if possible, I should try to get a Central Campus dorm but there is no big deal if I am grouped with the freshmen. Thank you!
