<p>Since engineering really isn't on the main campus, what is the best place to stay. S will have about 27 AP/AICE credit hours, so he will have most of the Gen EDs done.</p>
<p>Well, physics, math and chemistry are generally all on the main campus so he'll be there a good bit - especially early on. I'd try for any he likes. Does he have his dorm priority number? If not get it ASAP from the housing site.</p>
<p>There is a free StarMetro Bus Route 43 that takes students from the FSU campus to the FAMU/FSU Engineering School from 7am - 6pm.</p>
<p>Thanks for the advice, the $225 was a shock. S is a candidate for Air Force so I'm not sure if I'm ready to fork over that yet. His best bud does not have his application finished yet so I think we will wait for him (they want to room together)</p>
<p>Don't be afraid of the housing deposit, most of it is refundable.</p>
